I covet naptime!
Naptime is a chance for me to actually take a shower. The kind of shower where you use all the hot water. To shave my legs without brushing my teeth at the same time is a rare gift. A gift that I have learned to appreciate. Now, I am not the type of Mom who requires complete silence during the daily naps, but I do have a system worked out with Donnie and the neighbors. If there is a pink hair scrunchie on the doorknob, DON'T YOU DARE KNOCK ON THE DOOR! The door knocking makes the dogs bark and just like that, naptime is over. As much as I love naptime, after about and hour I begin to anxiously listen to the baby monitor. Wanting her to wake up so we can play together. Saturdays during football season is tough for us. We almost always have to TIVO the game because as most people know it is impossible for us to not scream and yell while our beloved Sooners are playing. Tomorrow th Oklahoma/Texas game starts ironically at the same time as Hannah's morning nap. Oh my, the Football Gods are cruel sometimes.
