Walgreen's Price Match-ups 9/19-9/26

So many people ask me how I save so much money on groceries. The key is to match your coupons to the weekly sales. I have been couponing for about 10 months and I already have cut our grocery budget from $100 a week to $100 or less a month. My sister Kerri said I should put some of this information on my blog and help other people learn to save some serious bucks! So I am taking her advice. I hope some of you are able to get your feet wet and try this out for yourself.

Below is this weeks price match-ups for Walgreens. I have also posted a 3 transaction scenario that will only have you paying only $5 out of your own pocket. Coupons I used are in red. If you are new to using coupons, I have also included some very valuable information at the bottom of this post. Good luck, and please feel free to ask me questions. I would love to help you.

FAQs for Shopping Walgreens

Q. Does Walgreens accept Internet printable coupons?
A. Yes. Walgreens accepts Internet printable coupons with a barcode, as well as manufacturer's coupons, Roto Ad Coupons and Instant Value Coupons (IVC) and Register Rewards.

Q. What are Register Rewards?
A. When you purchase certain items and/or a certain dollar amount of items at Walgreens, a coupon (Register Reward) will print out that is good on your next purchase at Walgreens. Combining Register Rewards with a great sale price and a manufacturer's coupon allows you to purchase items at the lowest possible price and stock up on necessities for minimal cost.

WOW lots of ways to say! Ok, answer a ? for me, you show the heating pad and Aleve comimg to $11.98, why would I want to spend 11.98 out of my pocket for this? Would I stop sooner, pay, then turn around and do this in another transaction and use register rewards from the previous transaction?

good question...I have no idea why anyone would want to buy the heating pad and Aleve together. It isn't a great deal. But, I'm just reporting the Register Rewards so everyone knows what's on sale. Learning to tell the difference between a sale price and your rock bottom price is a big part of saving money. Not every sale will suit you.
